A New Beginning …

You may notice this site in disarray over the next week or two. I’m new to Wordpress, its customization and blogging as a whole. However, I’m commited to getting my feet wet in all three so bare with me as I settle in and get comfortable with the software. I’m still working on customizing this excellent Fauna theme I found yesterday. Exciting stuff. Expect layout to be under constant revision.
I’ve been sitting on CodeOfficer.com since 1999 and used this space primarily as a hidden test bed for my web development jobs. My aim now is to establish more of a presence online, to have a place to record information about the various projects I work on, and as a means for communication with friends and family.
Speaking of family, my baby girl is due in less than 3 weeks. This will be my first child and I’m ecstatic about her coming. I’ll be sure to post some photos when that day comes.
